We also wanted to extend an invitation to continue to partner with us throughout this next year. We hope to see Main IDEA someday grow into a more extensive summer program, as well as a full, year-round program! In efforts to see that happen, we are seeking to partner with other youth organizations in Main South (and Worcester), and also host workshops with these organizations throughout the year. In the meantime, we we also need to continue to gain exposure through taking part in local fairs and festivals.
We are looking to start committees to help us with these activities! If you are interested in helping out throughout the year, please contact me for more info. In particular, we are seeking to find helpers in the following areas:
Recruitment and Networking at Fairs and Festivals
Included, but not limited to:
1. stART on the Street (this coming Sunday, Sept 15th)
2. King Street Block Party (Sat, Sept 21st)
3. Main South Celebrates (Oct)
Art Workshops
Included but not limited to:
1. Arts in the Afternoon, Boys and Girls Club Worcester (Sunday, Oct 20th, 1--4pm)
2. Holiday Party, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Mass (TBD: Dec 2013)
